The themed cruise “Viennese Melodies on the Blue Danube” offers a particularly personal way to experience Vienna. As the ship glides along the Danube and the sunset and changing impressions of the city create a magical atmosphere, live musicians accompany the evening with Viennese music, waltzes and traditional songs reminiscent of a Viennese Heuriger. Guests can also enjoy a Viennese buffet featuring selected specialities from the city’s cuisine and, if they wish, fine wines from Vienna, completing the special atmosphere on board.

The CruiseRoute / Itinerary
The cruise begins at the Vienna / Reichsbrücke landing stage and initially heads downstream towards the Freudenau Lock. After turning around, the ship heads upstream, offering views of Vienna’s modern skyline, including the DC Tower, Danube Tower and Millennium Tower, towards Klosterneuburg / Korneuburg. The ship then turns at a suitable point and returns to the Vienna / Reichsbrücke landing stage, travelling along Danube Island and through the green Danube floodplains.

Take the U1 underground line to Vorgartenstraße station. From there, it is approximately a 5-minute walk to the Vienna / Reichsbrücke landing stage.
